Help Keep Us Going
-
This is truly the people's project and you can help us reach 20 million people with the message that it is never, EVER, too late to follow your dreams. Since this is a grassroots project, we appreciate any type of support.
We just have one more state to go but we need your help more than ever. Transportation to Hawaii is more than $12,000 each way. Know someone who can help us transport Hope One for less? Military, shipping company, yacht owner, cruise ship connections? You can help with an introduction or help with random expenses below. We're so close to our goal, we can't give up now! It's the Flight for the Human Spirit after all.

On April 8, 2010, Michael Combs took off from Salina, Kansas in a Remos Light Sport Aircraft with the goal of flying into all fifty states and inspiring millions to follow their dreams.
A journey of this magnitude, covering more than 26,000 miles and with stops in more than 160 cities across America has never before been accomplished in a Light Sport Aircraft. Millions have watched as history has been unfolding before their eyes.
On March 26th, Michael touched down in Lakeland, FL after having flown over 26,000 miles, (further than around the world!) He has landed at 161 airports and flown in 49 of the fifty states, and through British Columbia, Canada. Only Hawaii remains.
The Flight for the Human Spirit started as a dream, and is proof that all things are possible to those who believe.
It has always been Michael's dream to fly -- a dream he thought was lost forever after a serious illness almost took his life in 2003. Nearly seven years later, it's finally coming true! But, it's not just about his dream, Michael knows what it's like to face impossible odds and he's now set out to inspire others to dream again and pursue those dreams with vigour and determination...and to do it now.
The Flight for the Human Spirit has now reached over 23,000,000 people and is focused on inspiring millions to follow their own dreams, no matter what they are or what obstacles may stand in the way. That's our driving force.
THE MISSION: Reach 50 million people with the message that "it's never, EVER too late to follow your dreams".
